Circle Bar B’s half day ride is a true Santa Barbara horseback riding adventure. We leave ranch headquarters and climb nearly 2,000 vertical feet, through three different coastal vegetative zones, to the summit of Refugio Canyon. The views and the flora and fauna are second to none, from the fern-lined Indian Canyon with its spectacular sycamores and fragrant bay trees, to the heavier woods that are cloaked with oaks, manzanita, and a madrone forest.
