Summer Group Swim Lessons

The Vandenberg Family Aquatic Center offers Group Swim Lessons during the Summer Season!

Check back in the Spring to sign up and see the dates for the 2026 season!

Below are our typical classing categories for Summer Lessons.

Tiny Tots (Ages 3-4)
Work on increasing their water confidence by learning basic swim skills such as bobbing, floating on back, blowing bubbles, and kicking.

Level 1 (Ages 4-6)
Work on increased water independence, progressing unsupported floating and swimming short distances unassisted.

Level 2 (Ages 4 & Up)
Will learn skills to become swim-safe, learn breath consistency and be introduced to the basics of freestyle and backstroke.

Level 3 (Ages 6 & Up)
Work on progressing the freestyle and backstroke while focusing on side breathing. Higher levels will focus on learning basics of butterfly and breaststroke. Older participants may work on improving the overall fundamentals of all four strokes and swimming distances.

Private Swim Lessons

Interested in signing up for Private or Semi-Private Swim Lessons?

The VSFB Family Aquatic Center offers 30 minute private/semi private swimming lessons for all ages! All of our instructors are American Red Cross Certified in Water Safety Instruction and Lifeguarding.

Current Prices:

Private (1-1 Instruction): $30 per 30 Min.

Semi-Private (up to 3 kids per instructor): $20 per child per 30 Min.

Private swim lessons are on a first come first serve basis. Availability is not guaranteed.
